RECIPES WITH ACAI BERRY

Dear reader,

After the article about the acai berry, we suggest some recipes for you to take advantage of the properties of this fruit.

SMOOTHIE CREAMY, ANTIOXIDANT AND DIURETIC

Ingredients (for 2 people):

  • pineapple ecological median and mature
  • 2 teaspoons of acai powder Ecolife Food
  • 1 slice of ginger


Preparation:
Remove the pineapple base, and the leaves with a knife. Cut the pineapple into slices and peel them, partiéndolas in 4 triangles and removing the center of the pineapple. Enter the chunks of pineapple and a slice of ginger in the bowl of a powerful blender, food processor or similar. Shred everything very rapid speed for 1 minute. Pour into two serving glasses and sprinkle each cup with the acai berry.

Idea: we can also add cranberries to the mixture before churning, or at the end to decorate and eat them whole. We can use other fruits, to our taste, combined, make delicious smoothies.

COTTAGE CHEESE AND BLUEBERRY WITH ACAI

Ingredients (for 2 people):

  • 200 grams of blueberries
  • 2 tablespoons orange juice
  • 1 tablespoon of maple syrup, syrup, agave or honey
  • 1 tablespoon of almonds cut into strips or laminated
  • 250 grams cottage cheese eco-friendly
  • 1 tablespoon of brown sugar cane
  • 2 teaspoons acai powder Ecolife Food
  • 1 pinch of cinnamon powder


Preparation:
Wash the berries in a colander and dry them with a lot of care. Drizzle with the orange juice and the syrup. Incorporate the powder acai to the previous mixture. Brown the almonds until they start to smell and then leave them to cool on a plate. Sprinkle over the almonds and some cinnamon. Mix the cottage cheese with sugar until smooth. Serve in cups for layers alternating with cranberries, marinated and cottage cheese. Garnish with the almonds.

Idea: we can substitute cottage cheese for a creamy cheese plant (almonds, hazelnuts, and vegetable milk oat, rice or soy) or by a tofu it's creamy, and this recipe is suitable for vegetarians and/or vegans.

BALLS APRICOT AND OATMEAL WITH ACAI

Ingredients (makes 20-24 balls):

  • 125 grams flakes oats
  • 125 grams of dried apricots (dried apricots), no sulfur
  • 100 grams of almonds chopped
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 3 teaspoons of acai powder Ecolife Food
  • Juice of 1 or 2 lemons

Preparation:
Brown the almonds in the pan and allow to cool. Blend the apricots in a blender or a blender and add the lemon juice. Mix all the ingredients including acai and if the dough is too loose, add some more honey. Finally, form small balls and rebozarlas made available by the oatmeal.

Idea: we can use maple syrup of agave in place of honey, making the plate suitable for vegans, in addition to lower the calories, since agave sweeten like honey but it is just a calorie. We can substitute the almonds for other nuts such as hazelnut or walnut, and can also use shredded coconut, or sesame oil, or other cereal instead of oats for rolling the balls.
